This is the layout of jumper pins.

ONLY TWO REMOTES CAN BE PROGRAMMED TO THIS VEHICLE.

1. Open Hood and locate diagnostic connector near battery

2. Jump pin 5 to pin 17 with a suitable jumper wire.

3. Turn ignition to the ON position. ( DO NOT START)

4. Press LOCK button of first remote two times.

5. Press LOCK button on second remote two times. (if applicable).

5. Turn ignition OFF and remove key.

6. Disconnect jumper from diagnostic connector.

7. Check for lock and unlock operation. Horn will sound when locking.

2006-2010 Kia Sedona Car Key Fob and Remote Programming Instructions:

There is no onboard programming procedure for Kia Sedona 2006-2010. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote.  Please contact your dealer or local automotive locksmith.

The Kia Carnival is a minivan manufactured by Kia Motors, introduced in September 1998,^[1]marketed globally under various nameplates — prominently as the Kia Sedona — and currently in its second generation.

Second generation models have been marketed since model year 2006 – including as a rebadged variant in the United States, the Hyundai Entourage for model years 2007–2009. Unlike the Carnival, the Entourage was never a sales success, and in April 2009, the Entourage was discontinued for the 2010 model year. However, the Carnival remained in production and was updated with more features so it could better compete with the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey and the Chrysler minivans.

The Kia Sedona (Carnival) has received the 2007 MotorWeek “Best Minivan” award in its 2007 Drivers’ Choice Awards and The Car Book’s 2007 “Best Bet” distinction. Overall, Kia models improved 22% in J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Initial Quality Study (IQS), and improved twice as much as any competitor in the last 3 years.
